What is dog training? I've always believed that it is an activity that should help us, human beings, better understand and communicate more efficiently with our pets. After all, we do belong to different species, we have different priorities, we rely on different sensorial abilities and definitely speak a very different language. By personal experience, I have realised after many years working with people and their pets, that what we really need is to develop a simple set of words, or better a basic vocabulary, that allows us to communicate with our dogs, hence control our dog's behaviour. My main objective, during our training session is therefore, to teach you and your dog the basic commands like: the dog's name, come, sit, down, stay, heel, and leave. Once we've managed to form the essential foundation and understood the dynamics at work behind any training method, we can truly say that we can communicate and control our pets' behaviour. My hands-on training sessions are interesting, funny, intense and rather involving for both the dogs and their owners. As we are all different and relate to other living beings in our own distinctive way, I tend to recommend different training techniques based on your predisposition and character. All these methods are kind, reward based, effective and simple to comprehend, so that they can be applied by all individuals and members of the family, consistency is the key for success. Our dog training course spans over the period of 6 weeks, during which a weekly training session takes place in the comfort of your home. Together we will review the exercise and progress to the next command, I will accompany you every step of the way, until you feel confident enough to have mastered your training skills and you have gained full control over your pet. I hope I have stimulated your interest enough for you to enquire and find out more about what you and your pet could potentially achieve by getting involved with dog training. Whether you are starting afresh with a new puppy or you have acquired a rescued or relinquished pet, or simply you just want to refresh your dog training skills, please feel free to contact me and I will be more than happy to discuss your requirements.

Why not taking advantage of your time away and include residential training during your dog's stay? We are qualified dog trainers instructors and we could include obedience training sessions in your dog's daily routine. If you'd like either to refresh your dog's training skills or need to start afresh with your new dog, we can arrange daily training sessions according to your requirements. Please bear in mind that during particularly busy time of the year we give priority to our regular clients and it might be difficult to accommodate occasional guests. Please contact us for availability and prices.
Overnight, weekends, Half Terms, Holidays.. We'd like to think at this as a "home away from home" service, where your beloved pets will receive all the due care and attention that they would get if they were in their own home. We understand how difficult and traumatic could be sometimes, for such creatures of habits like dogs to leave their home/den, therefore we have put in place a system which aims to minimise the disruption for you and your pet.

As dog owners ourselves, we truly believe that dog walking should be that time of the day where your pet gets the opportunity to exercise, socialise, play and connect with nature. We think that these are the basic requirements that every pet needs in order to live a well balanced and a happy life. With the aim to provide a better quality of service, we have created a modus operandi that allow us to offer our clients something different, a professional service that takes in consideration several aspects such as:
Our puppy search service has been very successful over the years and has helped many clients find the perfect puppy to suit their expectations and lifestyle. No matter what breed you set your mind on, we rely on our small database of a few reputable breeders that have proven to be trustworthy over the years, alternatively we offer advice and support with a breeder of your choice. Did you know that there is a test that helps to determine the temperament of puppies in order to establish how they will be as adults? If you live with children you certainly wouldn't take home a puppy with a dominant demeanour. This service will also help you and your family prepare welcoming your new puppy home and gives advice on behavioural issues like play-biting, jumping up etc. as well as house training, nutrition, vaccinations and initial training in preparation to first outings to the park. Some clients prefer to leave it to us to cope with the first few weeks of disruption that a new puppy may cause, or simply they don't have the time to properly follow the puppy in the very beginning. New puppies will need some time to adjust to the new environment, they will feed several times a day, they will soil, chew and crave for attention. In addition to the puppy search, we can offer an all inclusive residential training for puppies and young dogs. If you want to give you and your puppy the best possible start in life, then I would strongly recommend to get in touch and find out more about how we can help find your lifetime companion.
